My vision for our post in 2009-10 is that we're the number one American Legion post in the state of Illinois. To accomplish that, we have to achieve our goals: of 100% membership, improve our programs such as Steak Fry, Bingo, Hall Rentals, our Fall and Spring Shoots, the physical structure of the building and increase our donations to veteran and non-veteran organizations. Another way to accomplish it, is to "get the word out" to our members and future members through our newsletter and web site by keeping everyone informed about our news, upcoming events & committee reports. Most importantly, we'll "get the word out" by our members continually talking to the public about our post and supporting community events. By achieving 100% membership, continually improving our programs and getting the word out, we'll show our members and future members the type of high quality post that we are, a post that everyone can be proud of and set our post up for a better future.
